- I am always extremely honored to receive blogger awards from fellow bloggers, for example: Versatile blogger, ABC and Sunshine awards. But, I have experienced the amazing feeling of getting my very first “I’ve nominated you!” email in the morning (and I sat there, like many others, thinking “me, really, are you sure?”) I want others to get the chance to feel those butterflies, as well. Thank you so much for considering me, but please give the award to a new, up & coming blogger!! And thanks for sharing the love:)
- What you have to say is important to me, I truly value the opinions of my readers. Please know that I do read every comment and take the time needed to reply in a thoughtful way. I do not always do this immediately because of lack of time — but I do my best to reply asap! I struggle sometimes, be patient with me;)
- I am not paid to promote any products I discuss in my posts. Everything you get at Commander in Chic is genuine. My intention is to inspire, not drive you nuts with ‘ads’ etc.

When I started blogging I was nervous to comment on the blogs I read every day. I wasn’t sure how they would take my love for what they do, or my connection I felt from following their “open diary”. I don’t feel that way any longer because I have seen how incredibly rewarding it is to connect with people full of passion & similar interests. I hope that all who visit Commander In Chic feel comfortable enough to talk to me. Tell me how you feel, what you enjoy and what you do not enjoy. Don’t be shy, I don’t bite (I do squeeze real tight, though:)
